Default Me/N or Ne/M build

This is my first build I've came up with myself. If you have any suggestions, comments or improvements please post 'em.

This build is especially against anything that hits with an axe/sword/hammer/bow. The idea is to use Spiteful Spirit, Empathy and Mark of Pain on the target. You can use shattered enchantment to remove the mending or whatever the target is using as an enchantment.
It deals like 50 damage per hit.

The skills:

From left to right: Spiteful Spirit, Empathy, Mark of Pain, Indious Parasite, Shattered Enchantment, Enfeeble, Plague Touch and Resurrection Signet.

Attribute points:

I've used 2 major runes: major Domination and major Fastcasting.

I'd rather go n/me and archane echo the spiteful spirit, but that's me. Empathy costs too much compared to spiteful, and it's single target as well.
If you're doing this for pvp, I'm wondering what use you get out of Mark of Pain. I can see it working for IWAY groups, but otherwise.. people don't usually clump up for me, or maybe I'm just unlucky. Plus, you have to have someone calling targets if you're going to get any use out of it. I just find it too conditional.

Since you are using Domination and have pretty high Fast Casting, I would definitely use Diversion. That skill totally rocks!

Mark of Pain deals 32 dmg to players around the target. I've had alot of situations where the target was surrounded by other players.
Empathy costs 10 energy and has almost the same amount of damage. I don't understand why empathy costs too much compared to SS?

@jibikao: I'm concentrating on melee/bow attackers, so I don't get why I should bring Diversion along?

Empathy is single target with a slower recharge, I believe. It's just not as good as spiteful spirit, that's all I meant. However since you're a mesmer primary, you can get domination to higher levels than curses. If you're not caster hunting, there's less cause for diversion, but it's far from useless. A warrior is doing around 20 dps without skills, and they won't be able to heal or remove hexes. A ranger pretty much *relies* on skills to do damage. 15-28 isn't that scary with no IAS and attack skills coming out.

As for mark of pain, that's just my experience. I've used it before, I know what it does, but I find other skills more worth my time in pvp.

Mine is Me/W but I kinda regret it. But the Healing Signet is useful.
I love using Domination Magic skills (LOL)

I choose Me/N because the fast casting. I could raise those attributes to Domination or Inspiration Magic.. in my opinion.

I also would like N/Me because you can get life for others, make minions etc...

In my experience its nice to bring a cover hex for SS or Mark of Pain, and Parasitic Bond is a prime choice. Also, weaken armor might be nice to throw in there if you have some warriors on your team.

Also, you may want to consider Drain Enchant instead of Shatter since you really don't have much for energy management.
